After experiencing the effectiveness of Acupuncture, for an illness acquired whilst hiking and climbing in the Himalaya, I began my journey to become an acupuncturist. I qualified from the London School of Acupuncture as it became part of Westminster University in 1997. After completing three years training in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture I became a Member of the British Acupuncture Council, (BAcC).
Following a placement at Kunming Provincial Hospital in Yunnan province China I returned to the UK and have been working in the London and Essex. Between 2001 – 2014 I have split my time between Private practice, based in Chelmsford and Mid Essex Hospital Trust as part of the Combined Pain Service at Broomfield and other Hospitals. During this time I enjoy the contrast between the one-to-one approach of private treatment and the fast pace of the multi treatment room approach in the NHS.
Since the ending of the NHS Acupuncture service in February 2014 I have been focused on my private clinic. This has allowed me more time to further my interests in the treatment of chronic pain conditions and the treatment of fertility/pregnancy helping couples to conceive naturally or offering supportive treatment during IVF and other fertility treatments.
If you’re looking to enhance your well-being and overall health, you’ve come to the right place, I look forward to meeting you.
